A quick guide to the easiest ways to travel from Mombasa to Kilifi by road, taxi and bus.
Kilifi is about 60 km north of Mombasa along the Mombasa–Malindi road. The easiest options are a private taxi (around one hour), a matatu from Mombasa's stage, or a self-drive hire car. The SGR train from Nairobi arrives in Mombasa, from where a road transfer completes the journey.
